The mobile app occasionally crashes when saving images (Android devices)

When saving images on the mobile app, the app sometimes crashes, causing the mobile device to restart.
The issue occurs when confirming the acceptance of the photo. This is an intermittent issue affecting Android users.
Temporary fix: Setting Media Uploads to "off" during the survey, then uploading images using WiFi after the survey, seems to reduce the number of crashes.

A couple of our users have reported this issue is still happening on their Samsung 21 devices on v1.0.67. We're still unable to recreate the issue but will continue to investigate.
If anyone has a definitive set of steps to recreate the issue every time (e.g. not intermittently) please let me know as that will help us recreate and fix the issue.

complete
We've release
v1.0.67
of the mobile app which aims to prevent issues when taking photos.Since this has been a difficult bug for us to replicate, we'd appreciate feedback here, or sent to us directly on support@flowmobile.app
I've flagged this as "complete", but may re-open the issue if we get new reports of the bug.

We've managed to recreated this issue for the first time - using an old Android phone.
We believe the crashing may be due to a memory issue; this explains why older devices appear to be affected more than new devices which have more available memory.
We are carrying out some further debugging to identify the cause of the issue so we can deploy a fix.

This issue has been reported on the following Android devices using the standard camera plugin:
- Samsung Active Pro
- Samsung Galaxy Tab
- Samsung Galaxy Tab A model Sm- T515
- Samsung Galaxy S21
- Samsung Galaxy A32
- Samsung Galaxy XCover 4s
These are the known devices affected. But since quite a few Android users have reported this issue, I don't think this list of devices will be exhaustive.
Frustratingly, we've still not been able to recreate this issue due to the random intermittent nature of the crashes.
But we've raised this with the creators of the camera plugin (the Google team), and asked them to investigate further. Apparently this issue has been raised by lots of other app developers, so we'll continue to vocalise our frustration and chase the Google team for a fix.
